Madhuri miffed that fame is fickle

MadhuriMadhuri Dixit got an unfortunate reality check when her secretary was late to pick her up from Mumbai airport. Instead of waiting for him, she stood in the "normal" people's line and guess what? Nothing happened. While technically, that's a good thing, we know that actors and actresses in the industry like the attention and Madhuri wasn't getting any.

Since no one seemed to recognize her without make up, Madhuri eventually informed the customs official about her identity and they hustled her out before someone did catch on.

Madhuri's return to films after a 7 year break has not been successful and Madhuri has decided to leave while she's somewhat at the top, rather than being remembered at the actress that just wouldn't let go. Michael Jordan could certainly have learned a few lessons from her.

Life is going to become more ordinary for the Devdas star from now on, as she supposedly has given up acting, after the great flop that Aaja Nachle was. Her secretary has confirmed these rumours as far as saying that she's in India for just a week, to receive her "Padmashri" award for her contribution to Indian cinema and then she's back to the USA to live her life as an NRI.
