'Don' returns...in 2010!

Don After the success of Don: The Chase Begins, it only makes sense that the chase should end and that's why we can all be prepared for the sequel to the Don remake, once again starring Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra.

The originally titled Don 2 will pick up where Don left off, that is, when Shah Rukh got away and Priyanka's character was left heartbroken and confused.

Other returning actors include Boman Irani as the villain Vardhan and Arjun Rampal as Jasjeet. The premise of the movie is that this time around, people will actually get to see the true evil and negative Don, who was missing for half the movie last time.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani talks about the project,

"Yes Priyanka has been signed opposite Shah Rukh in Don 2. It is a sequel obviously and when we locked the story and the screenplay, we knew that we needed Priyanka for the film. Similarly, we have also signed on Boman Irani and Arjun Rampal.”

“The story is indeed ready and everyone is pretty excited about the film. We will start shooting mid next year and we are looking for April 2010 release, so what’s the point talking about the film right now? All I can say is that the film will take off from where Don ended.”

Unfortunately, Kareena won't be able to return, even though it would be funny if they killed her off again. Director Farhan Akhtar is itching to start shooting again, which will primarily take place in Britain and Germany, as the sequel now deals with German and British mafia.

As long as Shah Rukh doesn't use a bad fake British accent, I'm all up for it.
