Priyanka Chopra is having fun on the set of her new movie Dostana, in which she stars with John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan. Not many details are available about the movie except that that it is a romantic comedy, set in a beach setting. And yes guys, you will see Priyanka in a bikini. The Drona actress offered to don a bikini without being asked and producer Karan Johar didn't have a problem with it.
"I've worked with Abhishek and John before. But never like this. Their bonding is infectious. Dostana was one big party. It's a beachside sporty film. And I'm very much a water babe. The director Tarun Mansukhani's is new but his wit sparkles.He's written a really urbane tongue-in-cheek comedy."
While Harry Baweja is still scratching his head over the flop of his film, Priyanka has moved on quickly, with Fashion coming out soon (the promos look incredibly boring) and now Dostana. She has kept a nice momento from Love Story 2050 though. It's not the memories of acting in her boyfriend's first movie, but the little teddy bear that is her pet in the second half of the movie.
"It's someone called Boo, a pet robot teedy-bear who accompanies me everywhere in Love Story 2050. He's all pink and the cutest creature on earth. I want to take him home."
And according to some sources, she did get to keep the little teddy bear. What is with Priyanka and teddy bears? Apparently, she received a teddy bear from Harman on her last birthday.
Interesting fact, in 1980, Yash Johar (Karan's father) made a movie called Dostana which starred Amitabh Bachchan (father of Abhishek). Is that a freaky coincidence or what? Let's see if Karan can recapture his dad's magic which made Dostana the hit of 1980.
