Govinda is being a diva

What do you call a male Diva? Or are they still referred to as diva's and prima donna's? You remember when Govinda was kicked out/left the industry, forgotten by all except some people who remembered the pudgy guy from Hero No 1. Salman Khan and Sunil Shetty have been responsible for bringing him back into the limelight with Partner and Bhagham Bhag.

Unfortunately, the limelight is blinding Govinda and his professional behavior is being replaced by extreme brattiness. The actor, who used to come on time to the sets of Bhagham Bagh, co-operate with directors and was polite when making suggestions to script has done a complete U-turn.

One source reports,

"Govinda has sung a song for Loot and when the director of the film wanted to break the news to a prominent news daily, he required Govinda's quote in regards to the same for the article.

When he requested Govinda for the same he flatly refused. The next day, this very same news paper had Govinda speaking in length about his coming back to singing songs with this particular film.

The makers felt bad as he took on the entire credit to himself when in real, it was the makers who had managed to cajole him into singing the number and not co-operated when they required his assistance for the article."

And continues to tell the story when Govinda refused to shoot in 3 separate countries for Sunil Shetty's new film, after all the scheduling and planning had taken place. Govinda apparently only wanted to shoot in Bangkok and Sunil, being the nice guy that he is, gave in to the demands, although he wasn't too happy about it.

Who wants to bet, how long will it be before Govinda gets kicked out of Bollywood again? My bets are on 1 year.
