Isha Koppikar is stupid... and dirty...

Isha Koppikar is (in her own mind) a method actor. That's why during the shooting of her latest movie, Ram Gopal Verma's Shabri (What the hell is wrong with this guy? Why must he put his name in front of every single one of his movies? I don't write Samurai Sellout's: Isha Koppikar is stupid... and dirty... Yes people, that is my name. My parents were kooky.) in which she plays a tramp (Not a Lindsay Lohan tramp. That-guy-on-the-corner-that-asks-you-to-sniff-his-finger tramp), Isha refused to pluck her eyebrows, wax her body or even comb her hair. She, however, did not stop sleeping in her luxurious Juhu mansion. That would've just been crazy.

While going through her "I'm-a-serious-actress-take-me-seriously-please" phase, Isha stopped to take a snack break. The shoot was taking place in one of Mumbai's many slums (Don't shoot the messenger. Mumbai is a dump, except for small pockets that are occupied by the very wealthy, from wherein they gaze out at night and laugh at the people who don't have rich mummies and daddies. No joke.) and Isha (Who was obviously so engrossed in her character) sat next to a bin (Where she somehow suspected her assistant had left her snacks) and started to pick up some rubbish to chow down. It was then that her assistant approached her and said (I assume something to this effect),

"Oi! Nutter! That's not food! That's some goat's feces! You stink!"

Isha had this to say about the incident,

"I was so engrossed in my character that I didn't even realize what I was doing. If my make-up boy hadn't made me realize that I was sitting beside a dustbin I would have had my snacks there, "

Now... I don't pride myself on being some sort of scientific genius. In fact, I'm pretty stupid. However I'm sure I would've known the difference between a sandwich and... ummm... someone's trash.

Just saying.

Regardless it is somewhat admirable that Isha is putting so much effort into the role. Now if only she had done this 5 years ago, we wouldn't have been subjected to some truly terrible movies.
