Javed and Baba Azmi are teaming up

Being a hermit in an industry that thrives on attention is, ironically, the best way to get attention. Yes, yes, Paris Hilton still gets attention when she demands it, but she doesn't have any air of mystique around herself. Everyone knows what's going on with Paris. This is definitely not the case with Baba Azmi, otherwise known as Shabana Azmi's brother.

Javed The reclusive cinematographer has decided to direct a movie and has even accepted a script written by brother-in-law Javed Akhtar.

He speaks about his decision to go into directing and Javed's script,

"I've often wondered why I haven't directed a film so far. And the only answer I can come up with is, sheer laziness."

"Javed has written his first script since Farhan's Lakshya for me. That's taken care of. Now, I need to get the cast in place. Sadly, there's no place for Shabana or my wife in my film."

Well, he's not the only person having problems with procrastination but once he starts (he hasn't set a date yet), he's hoping things fall into place and he can make the movie. No reports on what the story is about, but let's see if the guy who's usually messing with the camera does behind it.
