Either Hrithik Roshan has realized that money is immaterial in this world or he really doesn't want to act in Adlabs films. The Dhoom 2 star has supposedly pulled out of an Adlabs contract that required him to make 3 films for 30 crore (300 million) rupees. Adlabs won't give up so easily however and a source reports,
"Hrithik has given the cheque back. But they aren't accepting it. In fact they've asked him to keep the money and they'll make just one film instead of three films for that whole amount with him at a date convenient to him."
Seriously, that's crazy money. I know Jodhaa-Akbar was a success but this kind of wages for an actor is ridiculous. If Hrithik does accept the deal however, then that would easily make him the highest earning actor in Bollywood, beating out Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. Is Adlabs that desperate to work with Hrithik?
Hrithik doesn't want to comment on the deal however. Some people think that the point of these multi-film contracts is that it lifts up the price of actors...if so, does that mean Hrithik thinks he's worth even more than 300 million? Or does he want the freedom of choice to know which actors and directors he'll work with?
Or maybe he just wants to spend some quality time with his family, including future Roshan number 2. Either way, Hrithik won't be on the big screen for a while. Suzanne and him could make some extra cash by selling baby photo's though...that's how they do pregnancies in Hollywood.
