It's been a while since we've seen any news about Sanjay Dutt. He's been in and out of jail and in and out of marriage over the last year but fans will soon see him in his next movie Kidnap.
Kidnap is due for an early October release but the main draws of the movie lie with returning old not-a-heartthrob Sanju and new darling of India, Imran Khan. Critics are already expecting it to be one of the bigger releases of the year and according to the few that have seen the short promo of it, insist that it looks like a hit.
The trailer is supposed to be watchable...very watchable, in fact, one reviewer insisted that he could watch it again and again.
The main plot in the movie is about a man (Sanjay) whose daughter (Manissha Lamba) has been kidnapped by a cocky, arrogant man (Imran) and the trailer features them having a little face-off.
Memorable lines from the trailer show a very older, maturer and menacing Imran telling Sanjay's character,
"Everything you do - eating, sleeping, walking, talking - will be decided by me.
Sanjay replies with an easy and slightly cliched, "Go to Hell"
Hmmm, do you think the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na star will keep appealing to the girls? Of course he will, bad boys are hot!
Fun fact: Director Sanjay Gadhavi actually wanted Shahid Kapoor for Imran's role, but the decided to go with the newcomer when Sanju objected to Shahid's involvement.
