After the massive disappointment (A nice way of saying "epic disaster") that was Mimoh Chakraborty's first film, Jimmy. Producers are reportedly shying away from promoting the son of former great Mithun
Chakraborty.
Jimmy was supposed to be a tight suspenseful dramatic film centered on how the gallant hero manages to clear his name in the face of various obstacles... Sadly for Mimoh it turned out to be a laugh a minute comedy with most of the laughs coming at the expense of the pudgy Mimoh (Pudgy! Haha!).
Now with Mimoh's next release, The Murderer, the producers are unwilling to even mention him in the promos of the movie. Although the initial promos (before Jimmy was released) were supposed to make Mimoh the selling point of the movie, the new promos say,
'The makers of Loha, Batwara, Qayamat, Jigar, Aa Gale Lag Jaa, Baazi, Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat and Badal - all Silver Jubilee hits, are ready with their next block buster The Murderer'... And Mimoh only has a tiny scene in it anyway. Don't stay away just because he sucks. Give us a chance.
I may, or may not have added the bit at the end.
What is it with filmi kids? Do they have no lives of their own? Every single actor/actress that has spawned a child has basically chucked them into Bollywood. Don't these kids ever think, "I want to be a business man!" or "I want to be a doctor!"?
Or is hard work the bane of fools? Why work hard, when you could just hang onto Mummy's and Daddy's coat tails and make a living that way?
I hate filmi kids. A majority of them are terrible actors and below average... ummm... facially... Example in chief the Deol's. They all suck terribly. Except Abhay. He's quite good.
Note: The following actor's and actresses are filmi kids and are good at what they do...
-Saif Ali Khan
-Abhishek Bachchan
-Soha Ali Khan
-Tabu
... I think that's it. Feel free to remind me of others. And if anyone says Uday Chopra or Salman Khan I will hunt them down, before hanging them from the ceiling fan with their pinky toes.
... As long as they're not too big.
... So no one taller than 5'0.
... Make that 4'6.
