Zayed doesn't care about his new movie?

Zayed_2Zayed Khan is a busy bee recently and finally, the time of reckoning has come. No, not that reckoning...when that reckoning happens, the world will have ended. This reckoning is over the dates of Mission Istaanbul and Yuvraaj, both movies featuring Zayed and while Mission Istaanbul needs Zayed to promote the movie, Subhash Ghai needs Zayed to shoot for Yuvraaj.

So which commitment will Zayed consider more important?

Right now, it seems that Yuvraaj works better for Zayed, because he failed to attend a concert with the rest of the Mission Istaanbul cast and crew. Also missing was co-star Vivek Oberoi, who at least had an excuse of being out of the country.

A source reports,

"After the film got delayed Zayed's dates for Mission Istaabul were obtained because of Salman Khan. In-between for whatever reason, Salman stopped shooting for Yuvraj.

So there were chunks of Zayed's unused dates which the makers of Mission Istaanbul used. If Salman hadn't shuffled around his dates for Yuvraj God knows what Zayed would've done. So basically Zayed shot Mission on the time that Salman created."

So I guess producer Sunil Shetty shouldn't be complaining that Zayed isn't around, since he got "lucky" to bring Zayed on board in the first place. Note how I put quote marks around lucky...because I don't think Sunil is lucky to get Zayed, since Zayed is a useless actor. I'm subtle like that sometimes.

Zayed goes wild!

I'm not sure why Zayed Khan likes action movies so much, since it seems that weeping lover-boy roles suit him instead but I guess some people just don't learn. Shouldn't the flops that were Cash, and Speed show that maybe he should be trying for different roles, like one where he doesn't have to take a punch?

Zayed Anyways, the actor is impressed with Mission Istaanbul because he's doing his own stunts. Most Bollywood actors are only willing to punch and maybe do a flying kick with the help of stunt wires and rely on stunt doubles on anything that could hurt their pretty faces. Zayed's stunt involves jumping from a boat to grab the 'skids' of a hovering helicopter (a skid is the ski-type thingies below the helicopter...I don't know what you call them. There's a reason why I failed flying 101).

Zayed talks about his stunt,

"Yes, Mission Istanbul   sees me doing one-of-its kind stunt. Rarely in the history of B-town have we seen or heard of an anti-gravity act, that too without any safety precautions."

"I am feeling pretty ecstatic about it now but if you ask me honestly, I was more than terrified before the shot. There was no chance for error and if I missed grabbing the skids, it was only the deep dark sea that would engulf me in its wrap. Luckily, I found our director Apurva taking me in his wrap post the shot and congratulating me for delivering what he called a superb feat."

Next time you think you might have a chance of seeing Zayed, don't forget to take a pin. His head is getting a bit big, he'll need help letting off some hot air. Someone might also want to point out that Istanbul is mispelled.
